Great article and all very interesting. I do consider myself as a realist but admittedly veer to the pessimistic side with several things often. I admit I can be pessimistic about humanity and people in general because so many are insincere. Oh I call out a lot of it. But I am often cautiously optimistic about many things as well. I mean I can’t tell you how many times I told people in the latter part of 2020 who said the pandemic is going to drag on forever that pandemics always end! The ones who are truly problematic though are those who complain.. all.. the.. time!
