In all fairness I wasn’t cut out to be a special needs mother but no one plans for that. I also did my best until it was apparent it was in no one’s best interest for me to care for him anymore. And I did what was best for him and everyone in the situation. I gave major depressive disorder and cptsd which means I have mental illness but despite that I did what was best and lives were saved based on this decision too. My point is mental illness is never an excuse for evil.
