I’ve not cared for it for some time tbh but the notes community is giving me ick vibes. Very cliquey like high school. If you aren’t part of the crowd they snub you. I also had an issue with a paying subscriber charging back twice and I have made it clear I will need to be reminded for owing a reading. I also reached out to this individual to ask them before that what they’d like me to look into. I decided to lose the dispute because it wasn’t a battle worth picking and I blocked this person from my stripe. Anyway that is not substack’s fault but I saw it as a message to pay attention to how I feel about it. I will add a few more posts as I did the week ahead reading today. I also moved my podcast to Spotify today and added the redirect. I still have to search for a newsletter platform that isn’t going to cost me an arm and a leg but I’ll be doing my weekly readings on Instagram. I may keep my traumatized parenting substack though as it’s not something I’m monetizing and it’s still an outlet for me. Otherwise I’m moving from it. However you must test it out yourself. Give it your all. I’ve tried and I’m just drained. Medium isn’t so bad like many substackers say. Medium may have its issues but the one thing I have to say about medium is that the community is so much warmer and welcoming than on substack. I’ve also noticed the kind and warm substackers are hardly there too. Interesting.
