Sometimes you have to rock boats to get what you need. And sometimes you will go against what society expects too to do that. Society would have expected me to care for my special needs child lifelong. Well it would have literally killed me if I did and he would have not benefited either. So I surrendered him at 13 and he’s much better off in a much better environment than home and I am too.
