Three Of Swords And Eight Of Cups: Are You A People-Pleaser?
You have to wonder why some people always sacrifice themselves for the sake of pleasing others. You cannot call that kindness. If that describes you, then why do you do that? Please don’t take this the wrong way. You may want to help others, but why would you step over your boundaries when they may not even appreciate it? Are you worried about not being liked? Would you be willing to sacrifice your sleep and time for self-care to do favors for people who are only taking advantage of you? Would you be ready to go out of your way to help someone who really couldn’t care less about you? You must be a people-pleaser if that is the case.
What Does It Mean When You Are A People-Pleaser?
People-pleasing doesn’t sound that bad when you consider what it entails on the surface. In other words, you want to be kind because there isn’t enough kindness in the world. That’s fine with me. The danger with being a people-pleaser is that you put your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your loved ones at risk by doing everything for others.
