Unfortunately I am diabetic (father is, and yo-yo dieting for years likely did it too) but I’m on Metformin and Ozempic controlling it and hopefully these tools will help the weight stay off. Also the social isolation can really be harmful. When I was caregiving my special needs son who is now in a group home I was very alone and judged. I’m sure all of that contributed to my depression and even diabetes too.
