Wow I’m so sorry I did not see this until now. I’ve struggled with my weight so I get what you are saying. The movement initially was to accept your body as it is because some like myself are not meant to be thin. And some people are large because of medical issues and meds that cause weight gain. However as you said it has been perverted and I blame Tess Holliday for perpetuating it. It’s telling you to eat what you want and to be as active (or lack of) as you want. That’s the dangerous part. And yes intuitive eating won’t work unless you’ve mastered it. I actually will write about something soon though that has helped me lose weight which is bonkers.. but you have to do what is right for you. And I understand how it is about being emotional over this kind of topic!! I wish you the best with it!
