Wow thank you for sharing. My paternal grandparents were Holocaust survivors. They survived as my grandmother was strong and they needed her labour. My grandfather bribed a Nazi with a bottle of vodka as they allowed him to escape Auschwitz. There needs to be so much education about it, especially as you said survivors are passing away, and so are the children of survivors. My grandmother lived to be 97.
